Kanpur is in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, it is the 11th most popular city in India and the second largest in Uttar Pradesh, after Lucknow. The eastern part of the city is built along the Ganges River where you will find several ghats and temples. The Massacre Ghat was the site of an 1857 rebellion assist British rule. Many of the textile factories and mills have been in trouble of late, business is competitive and many are choosing to go where there is a decent infrastructure. The leather industry was huge and has also declined which is all very sad for the people and the city. There is however a good auto industry with several high-end car manufacturers in Kanpur.

There is opportunity in Kanpur, you have to be smart to see it. Life and the way people do things is changing.
